Greg Frewin, I don’t know if you even look at this channel, or it’s comments. But I’m putting this here anyway. My name is Areus, I was a member of the audience (The one in the red jacket and blue fedora.) that came up on your show to perform a trick with you. (Specifically the one with the duck in the bucket, loved it.) I just wanted to say how amazing your show was. I go to/see/watch magic shows often, but none of it compared to what I saw in this show. I truthfully hope to see you in another show, and to perform another trick with you. It was a pleasure meeting you. Good journey.

Not much has been written in the Comments about the FIRST trick. P&T were kinda dismissive of it but I have no idea how it was done. Obviously if you chain someone up like that, they'll wriggle out in 30 minutes, especially since their hands aren't anchored. But it was done in mere seconds. I checked again and I didn't see gaps in the web in the back that were large enough to make it easy for the every large assistant to get in WHILE he was pulling the curtain.

At 1:45 freezeframe her thumbs have just finished moving down and in along the bottom of her chin to meet. I don't know why. Also her mouth looked closed but not empty to me when the act started. I don't know, some tension in the jaw. But if the trick requires only one card, it's overwhelmingly likely that it was in her mouth that the start. I mean, why would you EVER not just walk on stage with the gear in your mouth, if you're not going to talk to Brooke (or anyone) beforehand, and do something DIFFICULT to plant something in your mouth that could have been there at the beginning?

Removing the Aces and going with only 48 cards must mean something but I've no idea. It means that the odd/even choice reduces the pack into two EQUAL piles, while if the Aces were in it then odd/even would create a separation into 24 even cards and 28 odd cards, and that makes it break in some way. It may have something to do with the way 48 things can be divided into equal stacks in many more ways than 52 things. Where that math takes me, I don't know. 48 can be divided into 2 stacks of 24, 3 stacks of 16, 4 stacks of 12, 6 stacks of 8, and anything where the number of stacks and the cards per stack in the foregoing list is reversed (8 stacks of 6, 12 stacks of 4, etc.).

Just going off a lot of stuff I found in the Comments. Yes, at 4:28 as her hand has come away from holding up the blackboard so that the force into the eraser to erase it doesn't push the whole easel over, her hand has a very slightly unnatural gesture. She could have something palmed poker-chip style between two fingers but you can't see it at all. You just see that the fingers look a little fey for what she's doing. If she's holding something she's good. This was before hearts was eliminated so that card in that plastic would have a way of being unfolded to be either the 10 of hearts or the 10 of diamonds, and she knew which only AFTER that move. IF it was a move.

She coached the audience on hand signals. 1 finger raised meant even. Wave right hand means red. 1 finger means 1 10.

Everything depends on audience. They were told to pick 10 D.

The card can change. But how? I think sliding the egde can change the face

Maybe they should have checked her stomach instead of the board 😅 My only thought (that doesn’t involve swallowing cards) is multiple gimmicked cards hidden in her mouth. That explains why it is a non verbal trick, and why the selection process is so long.

The duct tape is falling off before she gets to the end of it. When untaping her face, she's always facing upwards and not straight at P&T. All I'll say about that-

goddammit every time i see a fooler i get tears in my eyes, i don't know why. but seeing alexandra suddenly emotional was so heartwarming. the must've been a lot of work that went into that.

This is basically the same thing as Jandro's first trick, except instead of saying right from the beginning what the set up was and having Penn and Teller pick the card, she didn't explain anything and had the audience decide. A card locked up beforehand, and it comes out after everyone picks out what it is. Probably a different method. Different sort of theatrics and drama. Great trick!

Special card, she hid the other two corners and the card could have been a multilayered card depending on how it was unfolded. Very well done amazing trick deserved the award!!!

At 5:42 I'm pretty sure she's palming something in her left hand, and as she flips the card over she hides that thing behind the card, and then her hands go behind her back where she has jeans pockets. But unless that "thing" is 51 other playing cards I don't know how it helped!! 😆 Bloody good trick.

Im pretty sure there exists a card gimmick that appears to look like a folded card but is actually able to be unfolded multiple different ways to reveal different faces. Pair that with a slight choice force and the trick seems more plausible.

The chains only pass in front of her. The metal behind her turns on a vertical axis and she merely steps out and guy steps in. Both gymnasts and they've practiced it 100s of times.

it was a force. she couldve erased the audiences choice. they got lucky guessing even diamonds. Card is gimmick with 6 options unfolding it.

Not sure why they were fooled. She has the ten of diamonds. Someone picks Odds, she erases that. If they pick Even, she erases Odds they pick 10 she erases everything else. They pick other stuff she erases that, forcing them to ten. And so on

EIGHT THOUSAND SHOWS....... that's amazing. Her stage presence is undeniable, AND its a great trick. Just wonderful.
